This 9-week online grief tending journey is an exploration into, through, and beyond grief, with the expert knowledge and guidance of Sophie, our trauma-informed, certified Grief Coach.
Suitable for all types of grief and loss, including death of loved ones, miscarriage, anticipatory grief of death, terminal illness, pet loss, ending of relationships, divorce, job loss, and significant life or world events.
This bespoke programme is rooted in 3 core elements that have been mindfully curated to support you as you navigate grief and loss.
Tailored for your individual experience to meet you where you are in your grief, Sophie offers tender guidance as you gently unfurl from the protective contraction of grieving.
A 45-minute online consultation is required prior to booking.
The Unfurling grief tending journey consists of
9 x 60 minute 1:1 sessions with Sophie, plus weekly anchoring rituals that include breathing exercises and guided meditations, and longer reflective activities, such as journaling prompts, and self-discovery work inviting you to enter the weekly sessions with intention and awareness.
Before committing to Unfurling you are invited to a 45-minute discovery call with Sophie to explore where you are currently in your grief experience, your expectations for this programme, and to understand how she can best support you in this journey. Please be assured that there is no commitment to book the programme as a result of the discovery call.
Nine grief tending sessions are at the core of this programme, which offer a gentle container for your grief to be held and nurtured, a brave space where you can find your voice and navigate through your emotions. Each session is designed with purpose, supporting gentle processing of grief, and helping you to lean into the all emotions and changes that loss gives rise to. The nine sessions are rooted in the three core elements of the Unfurling programme which are
Bearing Witness, Embracing Stillness, and Gentle Unfurling.
There are weekly anchoring rituals throughout the programme including breathing exercises, and guided meditations which can help with quieting the noise of the outside world so that you can be present in the moment, to focus your attention inwards where a deeper knowing resides. These rituals offer an anchoring to self and to guide you towards your inner strength and self-trust. Suitable for those newer to meditation and mindfulness, as well as those with more experience.
The bespoke weekly reflective activities including journal prompts, and self-discovery work to invite you to connect more deeply with yourself and your stories of grief and loss, allowing us to enter into our weekly sessions with intention and awareness. You are invited to spend as much time on these activities as you feel serves you, but can easily be completed in under an hour to fit around your schedule. You are encouraged to complete the activities with openness and curiosity.
Over the Unfurling journey you will receive text and/or email support from Sophie, offering regular connection throughout this grief tending journey. Grief can feel isolating, overwhelming, and the pathway is oftentimes unclear. This thread of connection weaves throughout your Unfurling journey, bringing all the elements of the grief tending experience into meaningful union.

The first third of the programme is centered around sharing your story, leaning into grief, and releasing challenging emotions.
The Unfurling grief tending programme is founded in this first element of Bearing Witness, offering a brave container for you to be witnessed in your experience of grief and loss as you explore all emotions that surface.
The second third of the programme focusses on embracing stillness through reflection, meditation, and connection to self.
As the Unfurling journey continues the anchoring rituals turn towards more intentional, restful pauses with longer guided meditations, and mindfulness activities that connect to self, and evoke deeper reflections.
The final third of the programme is the Gentle Unfurling, which is rooted in embracing change, enhancing self-trust, and unfurling.
This part of the programme is designed to help you navigate the changes that grief gives rise to, as you continue anchoring to self to enhance self-trust allowing you to gently unfurl from the contraction of grief.

connect with your intuition, hearing your inner guide and trusting yourself in all you do so that you can navigate grief with softness.
speak from the heart, learning that to be vulnerable is to be brave, giving voice to your story and feeling you have be witnessed in your truth and deeply heard.
feel open-hearted, unafraid, kind towards yourself, and empowered with tools that you can return to when you need them.
are in acute crisis, unsafe, at risk, or in need of professional support to navigate from your current state of emotional distress.
feel that all your quills are up in a state of defense - your primary need right now is to protect yourself and will need to feel safer before you can enter this space with softness.
you are not yet able to be a gentle container for yourself, unable to self-regulate, or do not have a suitable support network if you become acutely distressed.
